International Service - Chair :-  Ken Biggs.

The aim of the International Committee in this Rotary year is to concentrate on giving help to the many victims of the twin disasters, the Tsunami and the earthquake in Kashmir. Plus such items as Water Aid, Aqua Filter, and Twinning.

European Twinning is being progressed with, The Rotary Club of Blanquefort-en-Medoc.

One of our major programmes is the purchase and filling of AQUABOXES.

Another, is raising of funds for the purchase of Shelter Boxes.

These provide a rich source of useful items to people hit by the worlds worst events such as floods, hurricanes and earthquakes

Community and Vocation - Chair :- Colin Robinson

Our main drive this year is the support and assistance of people in need within the local community. Plus of course assisting the International Committee in raising funds to help with the Disaster Appeal Fund.

We will continue our support to youth, with, Kids Out", Travel Awards, and mock interviews at our local secondary school.

The Community Award is also an important event in the year.

Other Charities supported so far this year are , "Hearing dogs for the Deaf", and The Migraine Trust.
